kolo bramy
About Us
The history of each townhouse in the city is inevitably tied to its doors. While often overlooked as a utilitarian element of the building, doors — some over a hundred years old — have witnessed much: their residents, their stories, chance and guests, the ups and downs of city life, and the grand historical changes of Kolomyia.
Our dream is to give a second life to every historic door through restoration. Additionally, we aim to highlight the significance of these doors and townhouses through storytelling, unconventional walks, and attention to seemingly minor yet unique details. Most importantly, we want to inspire locals and tourists not to walk past these doors but to pause and study their intricate details.

Lectures
Since the launch of the kolo bramy project, we have organized several lectures. We have shared the story of our initiative, how care for the city helped save and ultimately restore an iconic and unique door — which, in turn, kickstarted further restorations — and unveiled interesting facts that can’t be found in traditional guidebooks.
